Very convenient for what I had to do - great location near subway to Manhattan. Excellent staff who were brilliant when a major problem arose, in fact went way over and above what was expected of them. Will be staying again in Sept 2017.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a brand new hotel and the facilities wasn't done. But it was no problem, across the street was the Sheraton & Aloft. We used their facilities and a 10% discout on trinks, food, etc. They are working together. The price for the season was absolutly fair. The Subway was just 2 blocks away and it took around 10 min. to be in Manhattan. Hotel is a good option to stay in New York.
Everything I would stay there again and again and share with my friends
Everything love it
Positive points : The rooms are really beautiful and romantic. Close to a subway and at the end the district is better than soho. The people are flexible and understandable. I racommand warmly warmly warmly this hotel. Negative points : the roof top are only open to some priviledged people, and when you ask for a cab, they send you a limo... Acceptable.
The room, the employees
Small, but very intimate in the details. Romantic, sleek and modern in it's design.
Room was very small.
Small room with no storage for clothing. The "restaurant" in the lobby was simply a snack area. The temperature in the room wasn't manageable.
No hot water upon arrival and reluctance on part of staff to switch rooms although after some time and multiple requests another room was secured. Hotel rooms are the smallest I've seen in NYC and as a frequent business and leisure traveler I've seen many. Best suited for 1 guest.
Location. Close to my business
It is very hard to find. The name outside is covered up and it is different than the name on the website. The street number is all but invisible.
New and Clean
Constant noise of air condition. Very small rooms
Nothing a @&$! thing good about this hotel other than the bathroom shower was nice. The room is a frickin Cracker Jack Box and not in a desirable area. Keith at the front desk told me by using my debit card they would hold additional $50 for incidentals...NOT!! They held $265 on my card that they still have not returned even after I paid for the room with my debit card! Of course I called the hotel and Keith told me to call back in a couple of hours !!! UUGGGHHh I would never stay in this hotel again even if it were free. The staff is uninformed, uneducated, liars Booked.net said this is a 4star hotel...that's another lie. There is no bar, no restaurant, no nothing!
Tried to check in with friends early, around noon for a 4 day stay. We were told there were no King rooms available at that time. Came back at 2:15'ish, we were told by Keith there were still no rooms avail .Then 5 mins later, for some reason, both rooms were ready(??). But, they put us in small queen rooms and told us that's what we booked and we had proof we booked king rooms! Staff (Keith and Crystal) both lied about the issue and only offered us a $25 coupon to breakfast at the Sheraton for our inconvenience. They would never admit to fault only saying they were booked that night and they would move us the next day. Bathroom sink did not work in queen room, room was dusty and filty!!! After hours of badgering them, Crystal said there was a "glitch" in their computer system that messed up our reservation. Other guests coming into the hotel had the same issues. One guest booked a Double Bed room and they gave her a king. Which is ridiculous because we arrived hours before them and they said there were no Kings avail.
I liked the ambience, friendliness, and cute design. My room though small was bright and comfortable and clean. I liked being in it. The staff were friendly and helpful and unobtrusive. I much preferred to any "chain" hotel I've been in recently.
It was in a bit of a rough part of town but it's obvious the area is gentrifying. I would have liked easier access to a nice, good restaurant./bar where a female older person travelling alone could have a nice meal. Junior's Diner was fine but I'm thinking of something with more contemporary style and ambience and food. I did not particularly enjoy the food at the Sheraton across the street and Junior's was fine for lunch.
Great location in Brooklyn, well-connected to Manhattan, too. Clean and pretty rooms.
We got an extremely small room (and bed), even though we had booked a king room after reading others' reviews. When we asked, they just said there were none available. Never gave us a partial refund or any other upgrade to make up for it. I guess they are just not into honoring their bookings ^__^'
The room is big & also the bathroom. If you not mind a little bit far from time square, it is a good & clean hotel. Location on downtown brooklyn, but now they change the name as Hotel Indigo.
The price is different from Booked.net, they will change the room price everyday just because the booking situation, if the day seem fully booking, they will charged higher. So end up the price is not showed the same by booking .com
no hot water for 2 days cold shower 2 out of 4 days
New, clean and easy location.
